We have so many traditions it's impossible toput them all on here but the two that really popular is the carnival and the creole day. Creole is a local language we speak and it sounds very much like broken French. Every last Sunday in October there is an island wide celebration in the dfferent towns and villages where you can get lots to eat and drink. Carnival is every July for about a week and it is big. Nothing like Mardi Gras in the USA. Lots of jumping up to steel pan and music in the streets. Bar B Que chicken and pork everywhere and of course rum. lOL

When I lived there it seemed that the locals just hung around the tourist traps to find caucasians. Maybe hop over the Barbados and use their's.

I am from St. Lucia in the caribbean though my profile states Barbados as St. Lucia is not on the list of countries. I am currently seperated and have been attracted to caucasian guys for as long as I can remember and I am ready to meet someone of that ethnic background but it is so hard. Maybe it has to do with the distance. Not much of them here on the island. Any comments and or advice?
