I have a BBC documentary done on myself related to Industrial Bullying and narrated by Andrea Adams, Author of the Book "Industrial Bullying". I am trying to increase awareness of employees being mistreated in the work place and the need to have an "Employer Mark" in conjuction with a "Quality Mark". I have had communications with Senior people at the EU and have argued my case and they now reckon it is upto each state to consider this. We are in the 21st Century and yet we have laws that are outdated in relation to protecting Employees in the Work Place.
I am very serious about when I stand up for people in Industry and especially about the Rights of Women in Industry.
Should I proceed or Not?
This is my first time in a Forum, so please excuse me if I have done it incorrectly.
If you want a straight answer to your thread..............YES i do think you should proceed with this as i agree that the laws are out dated and to be honest depending on the management or plus the environmnet of work place i feel that too many times there are many things that go ignored or not looked into properly as far are employees are concerned and how they are treated in the workplace.
What sort of industries are we talking about here because i feel it actually goes on in many types of work environments?
I will be interested to see how this proceeds and what others views are! Also when is the documentary showing?

Thanks Merry berry. The Documentary was shown twice in 1993 and sadly I see a continual repeat of what I have experienced. This effects all levels and Industry sectors. I was Exec VP in the USA and Director Sales & Marketing in Europe and stand up for myself and Employees. The EU believes that it is not their responsibility - This is very important to all of us.

Thanks. I need support from across Europe and I will create Media interest. This is an unsociable act and especially on Women and we in comfort ignore it.

Come on People - This is effecting all of us who work and wish to enter Industry. It is a place where we spend over 50% of our time and a place that eventually effects our relationships, finances, our future!! I need support. I was recently terminated by a French company for no reason, when I Appealed, they tried to cover up. Now I have Boards of Directors from germany, Holland, UK all wanting to give evidence on my behalf at a Tribunal. The French company is making financial offers, they relialized they made a mistake.
What is the sense of this - the Employee suffers all the time.
