I am a fish also, and there is a local get together tonight that I will not be attending.crying I went out last night, and have so much to do at home! YUCK! I went to the last one, but I will go to the next one is all. I love POF, it has to be my favorite site.

Welcome to the newbie, this site is fun...just limited on members. Try POF, they have alot of people on there. But stay on CS also, it's fun.

I was a fishie that went to the April 28th thing... I had a pretty good time... met some people there... and managed to have my heart broken too....

I've had quite a few bad days since... but I'm trying to get over it.... ain't easy....

The one I was going to go to was in Punta Gorda. Actually, last time I went there seemed to be ALOT of older people, good thing I actually had my own date that time, lol. I do want to go again though. I didn't even get to meet any of the people I wanted to meet. Not perspectives for me, but possible friends, which I could never have enough of! You never can tell who you will meet or where a night will lead. So, don't let your broken heart stop you from trying again. I will never stop going out, one day I may actually meet someone interesting to me AND interested in me. Almost impossible..I know, but I will continue to try!

Not a thing! All the people I went there to meet were much older than me, that is all. No one to hook up with, lol. I didn't get to meet any of them anyway, but I will try again...that place was packed and I couldn't find them.

That's very true..But sometimes it's hard not to get discouraged, because whether u know it or not, u kinda get used to it, but I hate it...I don't know about anybody else, but I hate being single,sux! laugh dunno

Hey..never said there was anything wrong with being old. However, it was a single's party, and having no one even remotely close to my age simply meant I would not meet any perspectives there. I knew that beforehand, but went anyway. That's why I brought my own date. I went to meet people I had interacted with online...which I didn't actually get the chance to do. There is another one coming up at the end of this month. I may just go and try again. I am always looking for single friends, no matter the age. So please everyone, don't misunderstand what I am trying to say. I am single, I am looking for a date, but for those whom I could not date...I would love to have as friends. Then we could go out together hunting for people close to our ages, lol.
