I WONDER

I think of you often, I wonder how you are,

You're in Heaven, and gone away so far.

I wonder if you are happy, at your home in the sky,

I know you are flying now, up there so high.

I wonder if you miss me, as much as I miss you?

And I wonder if you still love me, like you used to.

I can feel you beside me, even though I cannot see,

I know you could never, totally leave me.

I wonder if you begged God, to please let you stay?

The night he took your hand, and led you away.

I do know you must have cried a river full of tears,

While walking away, your mind replayed all your years.

So many scenes in your life, passed before your eye,

And leaving each person behind, had to make you cry.

You surely saw the loving face of your dear Mother,

Yet you knew you were going to finally see your Brother.

I know you cried, because you were leaving your son,

So many things between you and D.J. are left undone.

I know you saw Bobby, and the things you used to do,

And I'm sure you know how much he loves, and misses you.

You saw a little blonde haired girl, that would be Kris,

For Kristian and Bobby, you were thier Daddy they'll forever miss

I know you panicked, when it came to leaving me.

I wouldn't know how to live without you, that you did see.

I wonder if you'll ever know how many lives you did touch?

Losing you is hurting all of us, so very, very much.

There is a big chunk of our hearts, that forever will be gone,

And believe me, it is so very hard, to try to be strong.

You are the reason, that I have made it this far,

You taught me unconditional love, you are my shining star.
