i work in a care home at the momment, its a very mundane job, but it allows me time with my studies, can't have everything can we!!

just chilling out as there is nothing on the box.
the only tv show i watch is on tonight and i never get to see as i always work thursday night
hey i used to work in a nursing home i was the only bloke working there all the rest were women. we are talking about 9 - 10 years ago though. i was there for about a year and the management were horrible. it can be a rewarding job and some of the stories the old folks used to tell me in there is nobodys business. i used to get them up in the morning ready for breakfast wash them, clean them, and bring them down. 
which tv show is it?
being on nights, you never see anyone! other than the staff, its more of a hotel for the rich elderly than a care home. We have a lot of well to do people in ours. And the fees are astronomical!
what i cant understand is we all pay for a tv license but yet if we want the full package with SKY we have to pay an extra 40 quid or so and then they are all repeats. it a bloody con!!!!

i was on days and nights and on nights we used to go around checking every so often to make sure everything was ok. then we would get them up etc etc and bring them down ready for breakfast and the next shift would take over.

Yes we do the checks, but most of the residents don't need any assistance, and most of them have breakfast in their rooms. I told you is a over priced hotel for the elderly..haha
Its on 5, its really a good tv show. Huge Laurie is so dry in his humor
i must be honest he is a good actor. myself i love watching things that are sci-fi, horror or paranormal, im a huge fan of MOST HAUNTED on FTN im always watching it.

and yes i do like programs about the paranormal, very freaky but good.
