Well since my mom is only 4 hours away maybe the boys & I will drive down to see her & take her out for dinner or something nice...

I haven't seen her since Christmas so that would be nice for her at least!

Single Moms & Dads should get a big wave on both days. Just my OP.

Usually one of my kids makes me breakfast in bed.

Nothing.

I don't want to talk about it, hear about it or watch it. Its going to be a emotional day for me and a day I rather just spend alone and not be fussed about.

My kids will be with their dad that day so I will probably just stay at home like I had originaly planned.

Sorry to sound depressing. Just its my first mothers day without my mom. Every year we always did something with her and not being able to this year is very difficult for me. I am having panick attacks already just thinking about it. moping

Happy Mothers Day to everyone!

It's my second Mother's day without my Mom. Wonderful lady, I think about her often.

I always be sure that the kids are with their Mom's (plural) on Mother's day. I guess it's easy because they are close, well not that close. I just forgot about it until Pucks posted this thread. Thanks Pucks!

Did I just shoot myself in the foot for meeting someone?

Oh well, Happy Mother's Day Everyone.rose

Hi Tracy,
Maybe you can keep busy that day so your not thinking about mom so much? Go out with some friends or something since your kids will be with their dad.

Subject: appreciate it, if y ou stayed out of it.

If someone makes an insinuation or comment directed at me, i am going to call on it.
Always have, always will. Jim make a comment of my lack of plural in the word MOM. I felt the need to respond.
Perhaps you should mind your own business? this appears to be between Jimbo and me.
Have a great day.

Pretty childish pucks, I thought you were more intelligent. I don't care if it's none of my business, what you posted was uncalled for.

Maybe I'm missing something here - if so explain

when I read this

I always be sure that the kids are with their Mom's (plural) on Mother's day.

I thouhgt of more than one mother not that he was being critical of you punctuation..

It's all in the interpetation of the written word. Right Murray!
