I have plenty!
One is to take a cruise on a boat between Petersburg
and Moskow - a 10 day cruise incl. flight only around
800 euros. I cant wait to do that one day.
Other than that - I'd like to finish my Bagdad rail trip.
Did the bit between Istambul and Adana and back up again
in winter 2005/06.
Faaaaaaaaatastic people in that country!!
Now the next legt requires a Visa and more planning.
Like to fly to Damaskus and take the train up to Adadana,
through the Taurus Mountains.
Wish I could do it tomorrow...

Its apperantly good shopping - I dont belong to the
faction of girls who do shop - but I saw good prices and
wonderful fashion in good quality.
The tutkish are the most hospitable people I have come
accross - they really go out of their way. In a snow storm in Istambul I decided to take the
ferry at 7.30 am to the other shore - just to kill time
til my train left. After arrival we were told to get off, the ship wont return, due to snow storm.
I asked what to do, I had a train to catch - and a 21
year old !!! guided me from the boat all the way
aroumd the harbour (in storm) to another boat that
still did the journey. Not enought, he even paid for my fare!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it???
I wanted to shout him a tea which is served on board
bysomeone making a living from it.
No, he insisted and I could just in time stop him
from buying me one.
He took the boat back with me, even though it wasnt
his direction, and he had to return with the next
ferry to where I had met him first up
He didnt want anything at all.
These sort of guestures happend 10 days in a row.
Reason everyone all over Turkey told me when I
asked. They want to make sure their guests are
welcome and looked after.

I'm thinking of visiting Paris but no company yet

By the way how's your sweet dog doing since last night it was sick?
At this moment... I am considering going to visit my younger son in Dubai.... but the temperatures there are around 58degrees.... he says the sea and pool water is too hot to even swim in, one can stay a maximum of 10 mins on the beach...... so the only things to do, is to stay inside air-con house,car or shopping centres, and maybe go out at night......
Dont know if my Swiss Winter acclimatisation would allow me to exist in that heat?
I was last there in their Winter and felt like a non-human I was so close to melt-down! with may hair stuck to my head with sweat.... maybe wearing one of those Yash-Mac things would be a good idea?
But then, when I think of cruising down the Rhine here in summer and swimming off the side of the boat...... maybe I just stay here..... and use the flight money for beer?
