One thing i have come to love and think it is very beautiful i discovered many years camping at a lake.
It is six am you get up make coffee and take a cup down to the lake. Dressed up warm since the chill of the fogy morning still hangs in the air you sit down on a big boulder and look across the lake.
The mist above the water swirls, rises and falls. A loon lets his cry echo in the silence and two fisherman sit on a boat on opposite ends and try to catch the early fish.
Everything is calm and quiet the surface of the water like a mirror and slowly the fog lifts and disappears into nothing to make way for the first rays of the sun to which you lift your face close your eyes and let the warmth seep into your skin.
The air smells fresh and clean your mind is at ease and you feel like there are no troubles in the world even if it is just for a little while...

Sunrise in the summertime. Just as the sun crests the horizon and bathes the world. It is around 4am and the smell out in the country as the dew and mist rises off the earth is one of my favorites.

i am often amazed at how lucky i am to reside on the lake...(No i dont have a lake house, i live in a mobile home) But i have the beach right next door. The blue lake and huge tall trees are awesome. I can just go for walks and admire the clouds and sunset.
I also think flowers (particularily my rose's and my orchid's are beautiful). Plants too...yup its the femme in me.
So what do you find beautiful. It can be anything.
