I think the problem is there are so many jerks out there that women are getting tired of waiting for the good one to come along. There are so few out there, they just give up and settle. Well, I believe I am a little wiser now, and I hope that doesn't happen to me. My excuse before was simply I was sooo young...not the case anymore, lol. I haven't met any good ones yet, but I do believe they are out...probably taken though! Anyway, main point here....don't settle, make your life good without a man. I mean we all want that connection, on occasion, but for the most part WE are responsible for our own happiness. The old cliches about it will happen when you least expect it suck! They are probably true though...we probably don't give off that desparate vibe when we are content, lol.

Watch it there buddy, lol. My first go around...I DEFINITELY settled! But hey, like I said, I was very young. Oh Jeeze, I hope I can find a good excuse for the next time I do it, lol. Kidding, I really do hope I will use my head a little more this time! However, women are such complicated creatures, lol. You can never tell with us, really! Most of the time, WE don't even know what we want, lol. Sorry ladies, it's the truth! Oh well, only time will tell, right? Wish us luck Dingo...we really need it!!!

Missy, I totally agree with you.. Some women do get tired of waiting or looking and then just stop because u hear the saying "someone will come, when you're not even looking"...YEA RIGHT!!, I'm still waiting, lol......Where is he?? I always joke with myself all the time, that most of the good guys are taken, hmmm are they??
I truly wonder about that, lol! However, it seems I may know a couple...they are just too far away or not really interested. My dumb luck! Oh well, I am soooo not in any hurry here anyway. I am enjoying my time single...freedom, it's so sweet, and I am SURE I will miss it when it's gone. So, no crying here! Here's to good single times girls!! Let's live it up while we still can!
I am not saying I don't get down occiasionally...I do. It just is not the norm for me. Every once in a while, I get pretty down, and then the weekend hits...I go out, have a good time..problem solved, lol. It seems to work...just dumb luck I happen to have a good time that night though. I don't think it will always work out so well for me?

I do have to agree with charlie on this most of the women I go out with are always talking about the pass, and how they were treated, or how bad things were in the pass...not a good way to start up another relationship..so you tell me way women seem to do this ( live in the pass..??)

Dingo...surely you know the worst thing is a woman scorned, lol? It's because women don't know how to let things go...we love to linger (whether is be pleasant or not). I personally...prefer not to play the fool. Everyone knows----Fool me ONCE-shame on you

Seriously, there is NOTHING wrong with being cautious and protecting yourself....at all. Everyone should do it! However, I do agree with you 100% on not starting a date talking about the ex...BAD IDEA! I guess these women haven't let the hurt go...because under it all, it is our pride that is damaged the most.
I say...learn from your mistakes, do everything possible not to repeat them, and don't settle for less than you deserve! Let's just hope you don't deserve crap, lol.
Ok...now I must say I am really tired! I will read this post in the morning...see if I agree with myself still, lol Hey...I am a woman, I am entitled to change my mind as frequently as i like...right?
