How can you make the world a better place if you become a world leader.

A good question but perhaps you are an extra-terrestrial merely visiting the earth and are thus so fetchingly naive

A world leader comes from a country whose presence dominates the world - usually. 'Dominates' is the operative word here. Mandela wasnt a world leader in that sense but George Bush certainly is...however much we may wish it were to the contrary Its because it simply cannot be so - the most dominating person in the most dominating nation on the world stage has to possess a degree of megalomania to even want to be who he is. Ask yourself this: is a megalomaniac likely to want to make anything better than for anybody than himself?? (But of course you are not from 'round here).

But then there is the intriguing case of Tony Blair. He...well, he's leaving so I wont waste words on this scrofulous little chimp except to say that there are many 'wannabees' in this game like Blair, and (incredibly)John Howard, the continent sized a**hole.

Anyway, to answer your question, CS is not exactly the breeding grounds of world leaders (though some half-wits in the Int'l forum may think differently).If, however, somebody here became a world leader ..he or she would ...the big-bang(ing)sound...the mind boggles.

I reckon a good start would be to create decent jail sentences for all politicians who are:

corrupt
fiddle with the till
missmanage taxes
liase with companies to the benefit of their loved-ones) in short nepotism)
introduce laws to their protection

last not least support or instruct butching of any people, be it their own, minorities or neighbors

We are good at criticizing others,what can you do to make the world a better place if you were in George Bush or Tony Blair's hot shoes.How can you make their wrongs right?
We have to move foward.

You will end up making the Bush the hero of the world.Because everywhere will become Bushy again.
