My ex is literally drilling for oil in my bank account. It sucks, and it has for a while.
The good news is...and listen up here boys, I have a final ending date for the spousal support writtenn into my agreement. Without that, spousal can continue until the youngest child finishes school, including University.
All the woman has to do is say "I can't" and the court will have the man bend over for what is sure to come. As she is given time to "adjust", "train", "educate", and "experience" the ex who foots all the bills is left scratching his head.
I'm not saying mom's who stayed at home full time shouldn't receive support, my ex ran a business from our home and was a certified special care aide. (another story) Yet when we split she worked very little, and quit to go to school. You know why? the spousal support guidelines are based on the DIFFFERENCE in income, and by reducing hers to zero, she maxes out on my support. Nice huh? No sir. And its due time that the courts realized that this is the 21st century, and that when two people split, they want to split.
