We all, many times in our lives feel the pressure of our job. The boss needs more work every day, the job becomes more demanding and we need to develop new skills to succeed. I think that's a bit inhuman. Even if i don't have a "normal" job (i am a Ph.D student) i feel pressure every day. Like someone demands from you to do more, every day, every time. And then you suddenly realize that you haven't talked with your pals for a long time, and you have no free time to do things you like. Is there a cure to this? Is there a way to find a way to balance your work and personal life? I know many people say there is, but, from my experience with other people i see that in practice is very difficult.

Take this job and shove it.... works. But if that is not possible, go on a vacation. Even 1 day away, is better than nothing.
