Ladies, please do not be offended by this poem. It could be about a man or a woman. It just happened to be written by a man, and it kind of matches my mood this morning. If you have ever encountered anything like this in your own lives, give me a big Glory Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!
Shades of black
Her pursed lips and frowning brow, Deep breath and exasperated sighs, Make you wonder about reality, As seen through her narrowed eyes.
You smell rain and see the rainbow, She sees a dark and threatening sky. You show her beauty, the spoken word, Acid drips from her caustic reply.
She eviscerates your expressions of love. You stop to contemplate the cryptic key. Imprisoned in the catacombs of her mind, Locked away there, she will forever be.
A shriveled soul, all withered and dry, Nevermore to sing, life’s sweet lullaby.
