I have an almost 15 yr. old daughter. Some days are certainly not easy! I think they are still trying to figure out how to deal with their own emotions and/or hormones. I have found it best to just back off when she gets moody/emotional. It usually blows over as fast as it began....Good Luck.
Talk to Grandma and have her set the same rules at her house and tk God I am not raising a teenager.I raised a g-son at the age of 40 but I was blessed. He never gave me any trouble and today is a wonder man who has never touched drugs ,alchol, not even smoked a cig.So there is hope hon just hang tough.
Oh no I hope my children are boys I dont understand females how could I ever raise one. Considering im not much older than 15 I would say she will be bored at grandmas house and come home soon.
I would offer an opinion, but I only offer that in situations I've been in. My daughter is only five. But I will keep an eye on this thread and hear what the more experienced parents have to say on this matter. Sorry OP:
Tk u hzchild.Me and my 20 yr old daughter did it together.I worked 3 jobs at one time and she worked 2.I was going through a divorce.I give him more of the credit than I do myself. He had to stay at a daycare a lot.I took him when he was 4.But he decided for himself to be different from A dad and a Mom who were into drugs aand booze.wasnt easy but I would do it again in a newyork min.
It's complex. Either you have been super lenient or too strict. The balance in your relationship needs to be restored one way or the other. I wouldn't allow her to leave. Fight for your relationship. It will show her a few things.
