LOST THE BIG ONE inspired by Kami ( Archived) (9)

LOL Earlier I was explaining to kami how I felt about our relationship, and I think I made a pretty clever example and thought I would share it..

Okay Lets say you go down to the south pacific and your going to fish for the king of fish..the Marlin! So now youve been sailing for days, out of deoderant arm pits not doing so good, almost out of toilet paper, your chances of catching that big one is prettly dim....and then out of no where WHAM! Your pole is yanked down almost snapping, its the big one OH BETSY ITS THE BIIIG ONE....man you wrastle this thing for hours and hours until mornings light, finally you get this big beauty up along side your boat, its gorgeous...its everything you thought it would be..you cant wait to get back and show the boys, they will never believe it!
Well you grab hook to hook this beauty and pull her up on the boat, and instead of hooking it right, you hook it in the tail area, freak out and try to pull it up before it rips itself off the hook, instead of grabbing another hook and getting a better hold of it...and then your worst nightmare comes true! It rips off....there goes your drag, your pole is smoking as this fish heads back out to sea....its still going and you cant set the drag otherwise it'll snap your pole or the line...youre down to 100 yards...Its all or nothing here....you are soo tired...you wish the fish would eith take off and finish this fight or just lose all its strength and let you bring her back in...what ever the case you wish the fish would make its mind up cause GOSH DARN your arms are getting tired!

So, what's the dilema? Still having troubles?

Well kind of, I feel wierd talking about our relationship on here, but hey you guys are friends and wont hold either of us to our comments or use them against us so what the hell huh? So Kami and I talked yesterday..it was a good talk, we saw eye to eye on how things went wrong when I went down there, and that there is a good possability that that person truely wasnt who I truley am...so I asked her for a second chance...she says shell come up her to visit me and try again, so thats very cool ya know...but I cant get her to commit to me, I want us to be committed, at least untill we meet again, and Ill buy her that plain ticket whenever! But I just want her committment until then...I want to be able to talk on the phone nightly like we did before...if shes willing to give me another chance then I want the complete chance, not just bits a nd peices of it...so if I cant get her to commit to me then well.........

I see, quite the nerve racker indead. I understand fully what you mean. I think maybe she wants to be sure in person, before she's willing to committ. Don't pressure her too much, or she may be gone again. It's like rebuilding a home that was destroyed, you have to start from scratch. You have to put it back piece by piece, it doesn't just majically appear on it's own. It takes patience and hard work. Hang in there buddy. These things such, I know, but have some patience and show her the real you, and I think you'll be ok

should it really be this hard in the beginning? No it shouldnt, I shouldnt have to beg her to "refall" in love with me..this is crazy, I should be ashamed and noticed it last week...This is all my fault I accept responsibility for my own emothional distress, I dont need anybodies shoulder I shall reap what I sow..and move on...that which does not kill me shall only make me stronger AMEN

Remember my friend....The best things in life don't always come easy. When you have to work hard to achieve what you desire (in this case Kami), it is oh so much sweeter when you suceed and get to reap the benifits.

Things aren't always this tough, but yet some are. You said it "that which does not kill me shall only make me stronger". My ex-fiance left me, and it was an uphill battle for some time. I think the experience, even though a bad one, made me a better and stronger man.

Patience my friend, patience. You will know soon enough, right now must not be the time. Things go as well as I hope, you'll look back and say "what the hell was I so worked up over".
