no - ive not been arguing with anybody laugh

just want to know what you all think are the best ways. Do you let rip and get it all said n done with or storm off and refuse to talk. Does all the bad feeling hang around for days or what?

How can they be avoided altogether?

Any comments?

I usually say what I think then forget about it straight away.

Only ever argue with my son though and sometimes with work bosses. Sometimes argue with my ex boyfriend but he just sits there and reads a paper and waits until I've shut up so more of a one sided argument anyway. Even when I argue with son I end up making his dinner 2 minutes afterwards so arguing never seems to get me anywhere. Plus, I always end up laughing anyway laugh

so, is it about winning for winnings sake or getting across that their behaviour has hurt you or does it just make people see red - is there such a thing as 'reasoned argument'

A debate is a reasoned argument?

I just don't like to loose so i really do need to have the last word.

So for a first time ever...i will agree with Dave...punch their lights out and have the first and last wordrolling on the floor laughing

I argue for a reason but do know of some people who argue just for the sake of it and won't stop until they've won it.

I'm not really an arguing type of person though, too easy going and good natured I am plus my compulsive giggling doesn't help laugh

What about you Trish, do you get into arguments easily or are you not really the arguing type?

I did have a really bad argument though when I was 27 with a bloke I lived with. He ended up having to tie me up whilst I calmed down but I was shouting and screaming so much the neighbours sent for the police thinking he was trying to kill me laugh I think that taught me not to argue thumbs up
