Yup, that'll be the one... They always played around with classical themes even as Savatage... Some great concept albums, too... the kids could even pick up some knowledge ha ha... And DT: they're just THE BEST...

There is an a capella group out of ... I think it's Univ of Penn called "Off the Beat" they do popular music recreating all sounds without instruments....it's different...but it's all popular stuff.

Dream Theatre ... yes I do agree they are good .... "As i am" and "Under a Glass Moon" are my favorites.
Strangways, Leverage, TNT,Pride of Lions, Fate, Jorney, Survivor have been making a few very nice alboms ... though, i assume not so many people ever even heard of them.

as for me: Yngwie Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani and of course Vanessa May are the best ......... and i'm pretty sure there are more worth to listen to ...

as for me: Yngwie Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani and of course Vanessa May are the best ......... and i'm pretty sure there are more worth to listen to ... agreed as individual instrumentalists but as a band, or may I even say collective, you just cannot beat DT, esp. since Rudess joined on keys... every single musician a master of their instrument... and Petrucci is a an understudy of Satriani, so there goes... DISCUSS...
