I have to agree with Speedy on this one. We have no good choices and whoever is chosen out of these choices will ruin this country even more than it is now. I have never been this nervous about who our president will be next term.
As I said earlier...I think that before they can even run for an office they should have to live as the less fortunate do...worry about should I pay that bill or buy food for my kids..See what it is like to live with a tooth ache cause they can't afford to go to a dentist or worry if they have something seriouse wrong with them cause they can't afford a trip to the doc....Learn what it is like to be poor or of the working class...I work 2 job's and am a single mother..I can't afford to go to the doc and can't afford health insurance..Can't get any help because they say I make to much money...I don't have much faith in any that they put in office....they don't care about any of you unless you have money...
I definitely agree with you on this. Now if you were an illegal, you could get all the help you need plus some. They give handouts to these people everyday and they have never paid into the system, nor will they ever pay into it.
Yes, they are too busy helping everyone else...other countries, etc. I'm a firm believer of helping others, but I also stand firm in my belief that we should help our own first, then if there is anything left over, help everyone else. The way we are treated is like taking our paycheck and giving it all away to others without helping our kids and families first. Doesn't make a bit of sense to me.
I totaly agree...When I lived in Mississippi there were alot of people from other country's the were set up with boats for shrimping and provided a home...But we have many homeless people from right here in the states...Includeing the men and woman who have faught for our country...How sad is that...and the children who have no home or anything to eat...
I want a leader who can honor diversity, relate to the needs of this country, who has a lust for peace, national health care, keeping this planet alive and lead this country into the prosperity it deserves. Guess that about covers it.
Yes...very sad indeed. I used to meet my ex half-way so he could have visitation with my son. There was a homeless man off of the exit and even though I didn't really have the money (at Christmas time), my mother, sister and I pitched in and got him some stuff. A tent to keep him out of the elements, socks, gloves, hat, long underwear, food and $20 in cash. I just wish our government would find their hearts and get their priorities straight. If things were the way they should be, we would have no hungry or homeless.
Sounds like the kind of leader this country needs. The sad thing is that not matter how good their intentions are going in....they will always be corrupted.
