Well when I was 54 I dated a guy 37 and we got along famously.Of course we ended up just being friends and that was fine.Unfortunately he died of cancer and I still think of him often.

I had dated a guy one summer who was 6 years younger than me and at first it was great but I realized that he and I were not on the same page when it came to life and goals and such. So unfortunatly it did not work and I learned from it and realized I will never date someone that young again.
But that should be your own decision and not based on anyone else and what everyone elses opinions are. If you feel comfortable to persue a relationship without any serious doubts then I say go ahead. You do what YOU want to do and NOT what the others think you should!
