eternal voices call out forever branded on the ether
dissipating energy echoing through the mist of universe
refrains of trivial retailspeak melting into screams of gargantuan import
consequences measured in dollars and moving indicies
somewhere a collision of “no gherkins” and “to be or not to be”
feeds on the energy of sonic booms and whispering grass
infinitesimal refractions spiralling ever on
is someone out there listening?
are alien beings tuning in?
mystified by a wall of sound?
looking for the missing connections?
do they hear the vegetation falling?
a vapour-trail of sound seeks refuge
projected by a shadow of rains
searching for an oasis away from
the drumming of incompatible forces
but it falls upon the deaf ears of society
muted voices delayed by the wrong earnings ratio
