mornings are hectic in my house, my alarm goes off at 7am then im shouting like a raving loony at the kids to get up for work and school, then i have to let the dog out, feed the dog, feed the kids, do kids packed lunches as i normally forget the night before, then get washed and dressed as im still shouting of the kids to get up, i can tell you its great after 8.30 when kids are away, but i fear 3.15 as i have to pick my son up from school, then my other son comes home 5.30, and its mam where are my jeans, my shoes etc etc, and i dread going to sleep as i have to start all over again when my alarm goes off

when i get up i grab a cup of coffee and listen to All things considered on public radio,then when awake go and see what kind of mischief my freinds are into at c/s.by this time i am ready for the world.

my day starts just like you guys.Yelling "get up,get dressed" raving like a nut. Running out the door to get to daycare than work. any guys out there want to give me a hand? lol

First I pound the snooze button then fall back into bed, until 10min later when it goes off again. Then I roll out of the bed and 'zombie' walk into the bathroom where I try not to kill myself climbing into the shower. After that I'm fine, but its the first 3 mins thats the hardest to get over. I just want to lay in bed till noon.

4:30am, i get up take a few minutes alone and drink my 2 cups of coffee, hopefully its summer and i'm on the porch
5:15am i get a shower and clean up
5:45am out the door and on my way to my first job
(if i have my nephew who stays with me sometimes, he's being taken care of by the time i leave)

I feel ya there wishbone, thats when I get up too! Somtimes I gotta be up and at work at 4:30am too so that means up at 3:30. 1st shift is evil lol

Usually up at 4 or 5;do art work til around 7:30am; begin to "rattle those pots an' pans" in the kitchen put away last nights dishes etc. and wake my 2 up for school, one at a time to avoid fighting over the bathroom! Then outside on the patio for my 3rd or 4th coffee before I start to get ready to go in.Play with the cats for a while, then bike or bus downtown.

I wake up and look at forbes 10 richest people in the world,if i am not one of them I go to work,after I get my coffee wake my kids send son on his way to preschool and daughter to nana's and get in shower and then I am off for the day...But while i drink my coffee i always look to my airline miles and think of the next vacation always gives me something to look forward too...6 kids wow you are a super women ...You do need paid...I could not imagine...And you look great as well...

Coffee; dog's out; shower; dog's in; wake kid; start b-fast; wake kid again; feed dogs; wake kid again - this time with the dogs or with a water sprayer to mist his sweet little face - then on and on like all other parents with school age kids who also work full time! Once I start new job next week, it'll all happen the same -- just EARLIER!

5 am, son gets up - doesn't have to get up until 6 am, but ever since the time changed, his internal clock is an hour off! I get him dressed, start coffee, feed dog and turn on the computer. After explaining a few thousand times that the bus won't be here until 6:30 am, I try to amuse my son with the TV. Dog has to be amused too so she doesn't eat the couch or harass my son into biting himself (weird, huh?) Get coffee, coats on, push son in wheelchair up the driveway to meet the bus. FINALLY...get to check email and the forum. Same as everyone else with children except for the biting LOL :)

Hi Arabella, no, I never noticed that. This one has been dead awhile, though, hasn't it? I didn't want to reveal anything personal about myself, especially if some of it was so same ole'. I just never responded.
Well, what's the first thing I do? Check my back before I roll over to be sure there isn't a child in it. If it's clear, I roll over far enough to see how long I've got before the alarm goes off. Otherwise, I start gently pushing the child away with a hand or a foot, whatever reaches best, until the warm little body is teetering on the edge of the bed.....

hahaha I don't have the cig so it must be the coffee! I wake usually with a pair of eyes bearing down on me about on inch from my own to see if i'm faking. Then if that doesn't get a responce she drags her beard accross my face cause she knows it tickles and will get a rise out of me. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MY DOG HERE PEOPLE! I sit up scratch my head stumble off to the washroom, take a wiz, wash my hands, let the dog out, make coffee, make the dogs breakfast, sprinkle it with crack (potassium citrate). put it down with some fresh water.Let the dog back in give her a cookie. sit with cofee and try to pry the other eye open. Drink coffee, stumble to shower and shudder at the thought of water hitting my body so freekin early in the morning. When I work evening my day goes much better. I am not a morning person!!!
