If so, just wanted to tell you I thought you looked incredible and I was too shy to introduce myself. Hope you read this someday, etc, etc...'

As corny as it sounds, how many of us would be chuffed at someone placing an ad to find you?

Yeahhaaaa ...but please wait a sec last X-mas I was sitting at the Beach Pub in Sliema (in the interesting curve ) ..there was some sort of individium staring over all the time too

I get that all the time and I am bored of the whole thing .. and that is without a photo ..

You saw me wearing my red top with a pink flower in my hair! I was trying to be incognito, dammit!

Believe it or not it HAS happened to me on several occasions.........when I've met the eyes and gazed into the soul of some gorgeous creature and I've been too shy to introduce myself.

It happens to everybody I guess from time to time. Not to the same degree though.

Don't know if advertising the matter in the papers, and getting the person in question to respond would get the desired results.

For her it would be a blind date. For the guy who has not had the courage to walk over to the girl and introduce himself, it is not going to be any easier. Who has not found the courage to do it the first time, is not going to do it the second time around.

I don't think that the girl would appreciate the trouble that the guy has taken to advertise his interest in the papers.

Maybe she was not single, and all it would have taken was to ask her directly if she was free or not. It would have saved a lot of useless hassle. I can't imagine a guy who cannot walk up to a girl and ask her out, to ask her to bed with him later. It boggles the mind.
Maybe some women act correctly when they ignore certain signals from would be admirers!!

I kinda think that sort of thing is romantic. Surely there are some moments when you wished you gone up to someone and the moment passed.
