What is love? Love is when all you think about is this person, and nothing in the world is as important as they are. It's that tingle from head to toe when you hear their voice. Its the feeling that washes over you when you finally see them and your bodies mold together for that hello hug. It's kisses that can go on for hours yet the time seems to go by so fast. It's wonderful and I wish everyone could be in love at least once in their lives. Some of us find our true love only to lose them (mine to cancer) but I keep looking because I know there's another one out there for me. Someone who thinks I am their sunshine!

What you describe is the very fleeting feeling of being "in love". It is simply your brain responding to a pleasant stimulus triggered by desired subset of the object of your infatuations features.
This subset is not the true person though as the infatuated will sooner or later discover. Now you must make a choice - am I going to offer my unconditional loyalty and trust to this person irrespective of the parts that I do not like or find so desirable? Am I going to be this persons safe haven and trust this person to be mine? Am I going to become one with this person.
That is when you start building this thing called love - this thing that is based mainly on unconditional loyalty and trust - this thing that makes you feel safe, cared for, treasured and that you belong .

No it is not an easy question.To me, Love between a man and woman is very deep,and it takes alot of communication,as well as understanding,to help develope the relationship.Trust,honor and partnership,are some of the strongest tickets to truly becoming one.Honesty,Faithfulness and a good bond,are also important.Being very understanding,compassionate,and willing to comfort each other, in the desparate times.To me Love does not grow on trees,so therefore we need to create our own tree of live. and water it and with loving deeds.------ This thread is Archived ------
