I usually make a list and I usually forget it at home. I don't have any special hours to go shopping and the truth is, I hate shopping

Remember that you buy what you don't need when you have excess money to waste.dunno

I usually make a list of the most important things and then add to the list as I go along. I always come back with more things than I intended to buy. I love going shopping, what I don't like is unloading and downloading the car.moping

I'm Miss Shopper

I don't make a list but I go to four supermarkets all over Malta about once a week, generalyl because I can't get what I'm looking for in one store. I never have to make a list because when i'm going to one I know exactly what i'm there to pick up.

Oh the day when they will have all my items under one roof thumbs up

I don't need to make a list for what I want......I keep my beady little piggy eyes open for 'Miss Shopper' in the hope of accidentally bumping into her down an aisle.

My theory is this - if you meet the right person in a shopping aisle and knock all her thingies on the floor and grovel a lot in a kind of cute way as you pick up her hygienic products, and then take her for a coffee, by way of apology, in no time at all that shopping aisle has turned into a church aisle and you're getting married!

smitten

The weird guy you see lurking in supermarkets dribbling saliva all over the floor is actually me - you have been warned!

'Have a good day!'

Dear sad shopping person,

You should employ the services of a 'man' to load and unload your shopping.

If he does a good job you should reward him with a biscuit or kisses (or both).

If he does a bad job just take advantage of his body - that's all he's good for!

laugh I don't think any guys have knocked over my trolley in the past. If I was carrying a basket maybe one of them should offer.

Although now I will look out for any strange individuals peeping at me from round the aisles.

In the UK the only person who chatted to me in a supermarket seemed fascinated by some of the items in my trolley and promptly inspected each and every one of them while passing comments. She wasa very sweet old lady though - what could I say. smile

I wasn't inferring anything! blushing

I remember some Indians once buying 'Whiskers' to eat with curry....... they didn't realise it was cat food but were impressed with the list of ingredients!

I am not married. I am not gay. I do, however, love cooking good food with fresh ingredients - good food to me is a must and not a luxury.............

Cheers! wine

No, I wasn't - and your apology accepted......... I certainly meant no offence plus I have two lovely kittens called Timmy and Tiggy (brother and sister).

I love both dogs and cats, but dogs are too great a responsibility and need to be walked etc which is a problem if you travel between homes in different countries a lot.......sigh

I agree, I would love to have lots of little kittens running around... but only if they can stay kittens for good confused

But I decided not to have any pets as you have to spend an awful lot of time at home otherwise it's just not fair on the little ones. crying

My dad's cat died aged 19 and I know he missed 'Tottie' terribly - my mother said 'You love that cat more than you love me!'

I eventually persuaded them to let me get the two kittens - both my parents adore them and they are good therapy if you've been ill......

They are actually a year old now....so rather large kittens or young cats, but still playful and great characters -

Timmy was the larger kitten and I thought 'he' was male but Timmy is in fact a she who looks quite like Garfield......her brother Tiggy is smaller but a totally different character - Timmy is sensible and cautious while Tiggy is very extrovert and fearless!

Dear Agony Aunt Agatha,

hang on, is that the AAA?

you're right agony aunt,I should employ the services of a "man" to load and unload my shopping, the question is: how do I find one that would be willing?

should I display a sign?

should I pretend to faint?

should I aboard one and ask nicely?

should I change supermarkets?

or perhaps I should use the old technique...." if you help me with the sopping I'll cook you a meal.."?

It worked once, I exchanged a spanish omelette and chorizo with a good rioja for the change of my breaks on my bike!
