I had planned on borrowing against it next year to finance some travels. But the Mutual fund portion has sucked hard the last 3 quarters...and it doesn't look promising for at least the next 2.
I'm thinking of getting out of mutual funds and into some offshore stuff, but I haven't made up my mind about it yet...thats a big change...

Gotcha. I want to go out of mutual funds too by the end of the year. I'll switch over to stock. I'm doing very well with the system I developed.

I've already got a lot invested in Domestic blue-chip stock. Dividends are a nice addition to the portfolio. Not enough to travel with, but it does add to the overall capital of the investment plan.
