I'm starting a thread devoted to Bull****. Political,academic,economic,in business...what have you. The world is full of people talking nonsense,jargon,sophistry,vague,wooley meaningless rubbish. Have you any good examples? I'm starting with the words of a Master,one Bertie Ahern.

There's more of this stuff out there than there is of good solid communication.

Finding realspeak as opposed to waffle (to use a bit of jargon myself) would be an insurmountable challenge.

I prefer waffles with butter, golden syrup and a squeeze of lime juice.

The world has the collective attention span of a goldfish, and you wonder why we suffer the rhetoric of meaningless sound-bites?
