yes, me, too. It is amazing to me all the different colors of eyes and colors in different peoples eyes - flecks of gold, summer sky blues, ocean greens

Nice to know; my son's eyes are blue blue blue and somewhat almond shaped which is interesting given our anglo-saxon-english-scottish background...

Eyes: the eyes are the key
for they help us to see
the way they glance and stare
showing beauty everywhere
when I looked into her eyes so deep
I seen everything she tried to keep
locked up deep inside
it was something she tried to hide
but the pain was just too much
that's when I seen a teardrop touch
softly against her cheek and began to run down
til it fell to the floor never making a sound
so I pulled her close and held her tight
letting her release her pain all through the night
she said she felt ashamed to break down and cry
but I knew that from when I'd looked in her eyes.
Don't know if it makes sense, but it's my first attempt.

That was beautiful wolf man, well written. Have you done many more, I would be interested to read more if I may. Eyes are the peek hole into a person's very being, if you look you will see it all right there in front of you. Also like was said the many colors and aspects of eyes are fanomanol. (sp) :)

If you were gone and I loved you.
would my eyes see the shade
of love inspired and true.
or does nights song fade?
You may wonder at that I know
how many breathes you take.
When you sleep soft and slow.
My eyes gaze my heart ache,
The view of your body my own
entwined in passions grace
I think of the years spent alone.
I feel safe in loves embrace.
I know the lines and smiles
of that beautiful soul
The steps together a million miles
the few falls in hard holes
So you see if you are gone
I still love you
My equisite love of one
sight not needed to see true
I still see the man my friend
it is in my heart that a ember burns
for the beauty that is the end
Your my sight at every turn

eyes are the windows to the soul
stare into the eyes of the world
see what is there and what is not
wind carries sight into another place
where all you can see is reality
not cloaked by mystery or lies
look into thine eyes
and tell me what you see
I can see your soul
all of your pain
all of your love
all of your joy
look upon the eyes with caution
for you may not always like
that which you see
and it may not always be that which you seek
