I have no difficulties with any words here. You speak plain English, so do I. If you say you have only respect for people wanting to advance in life, then say it plainly, stop offending and attacking women, just because you feel we are potential threats.
If you have the capability and skills for your job and are doing it well, then you shouldn't worry about anybody going after it. If you are relying only in your gender and not the required habilities to perform a job, then you should worry. If a woman is capable and more skilled at doing the same job than a man, then she should have the job. Jobs should not be obtained based on gender.
Now if I was in an open competition with someone that is after my job and position, I wouldn't open doors for them either. If it was another man after your job and position, will you be buying him beer? I don't think so.
If I have taken your statements the wrong way, then I apologize. But I don't think I did. You may think that you are an equal rights advocate, but in truth you are not.
I think this thread may spin the wrong way, and I think it is time to call a truce and talk about something else...

Her topic was..."What should We Talk About"... It was not against the rules at all. Asking for a topic of conversation opens the door for many opinions. I seldom have posted a thread on this site but I have read many of them. So far a majority of what I have seen are inane topics. At least this thread was interesting and fun except for the man that has issues. My god he even told a member what she should and shouldn't laugh at.
