How many & who have you dated from CS? (44)

I have dated one from this site...a wonderful woman to be sure, but not quite right for me. The long distance aspect did alarm me at first, but eventually I realized we were just too different to be a long term success story....the distance had nothing to do with the break.

I have also met a couple of people from Edmonton along the way too, and shared a couple of drinks as friends which was way cool!

I think most people on the site are ordinary folks, and like anyone, are cautious about meeting someone new.

Just be yourself, and let it happen, trying too hard will almost always end up in a letdown.

I have met a few on this site but only dated one. We had dated for the summer but unfortunatly it didn't work out. But we are still good friends to this day and still talk here and there so its all good.

I have to agree that the Canadian forums are pretty sad ..... not the people but simply the lack of them that participate. Kinda reminds me of traveling when I was young .... we went through Alberta and got all excited when we saw a town coming up .... until we realized it was another grain elevator! lol

You make a post and it may or may not get answered in a couple of weeks.

As for the actual dating for me personally this site has been extremely slow (a few phone calls from far far far far away) but I did finally connect with someone local who has really caught my interest and I'm pursuing this relationship and my fingers are crossed that it will continue to grow and blossom.


Other than that its been like pulling teeth for the most part (people seem to only be able to compose a two sentence letter at maximum ...... or they seem to have even less to say then that!! ) Yikes people - what's up with that?
