Everybody has different ideas of what makes for a romantic getaway. To me, it's the shared experience that makes it romantic more than the 'where' of it all.... So what about you? What do you think would be (or is) a romantic getaway? Two in a pup tent? a weekend at a beach cottage? or Hilton Hawaii ?
Romantic Getaways are real fun but here are some of my best you can do at home...they allways got me want i wanted..hee hee...
Bury a time capsule with trinkets and love letters . Draw a map with an X marking the spot. Store the map in your safety deposit box or in another safe place. Dig it up in a few years.
Plant a note or two in a book your love is reading. Write "I love you," I want you," or "XOXOXO."
Send your love at letter at work. Disguise it in a business envelope. Make it happy for a pick me up, loving for romance and naughty if you're planning a date that evening.
Make a puzzle of a love letter or brochure for a surprise getaway. Send a piece to your love everyday until it's complete. Or leave a piece on the table or dresser everyday.
Spray paint a heart in the grass for your love to see.
And for some real together fun come up with 10 silly things to take a photo of...ie..hugging a old person..kissing a cop...dancing on a table at a restruant.. singing with the band at a night culb....ect ..ect..ect.... make your list and set off together one night to take as many photos you can from your list....its a blast........
Any of those can be romantic with the right person... I've always thought one of those all inclusive resorts would rock though :P But I'll be lucky to get the pup tent, a campfire and a can of beanie weenie lmao

Okay I'm going to dream here. Personally, I'm a warm weather guy. so here goes....
We're listening to and feeling the ocean waves gently rocking us as we snuggle together under the star-studded sky on the rear deck of our sailboat. The deck perimeter is glowing with candles in Chinese lanterns and were sipping our wine or a cold beer, grilling shrimp and feeding each other appetizers while listening to Patsy singing " Sweet Dreams". We're talking about how good life is.......... just the way it is., since we found each other...and we're making plans for our future. We're feeling content and happy just because we're together. We know we don't need much because we have each other.....<<SLAP>>...oh ok im awake sorry wishfull dreaming
When summer is winding down in my town of Ottawa, I find myself in the southern hemisphere where spring has just begun and we all know spring is the season of romance.
I walk up to her trailer She has her "good" teeth on She's pumpin Def Leppard I can tell I'm gettin lucky Her father throws me a MGD can and a screwdriver I do the shotgun Say I'll have her home before The latenight "Dukes of Hazzard" reruns are done We shred off in the Camaro And the rest is history
