When I was young, I believed my steps in life we predetermined; that what ever transpired in my life was because it was meant to be. It made it easier to cope with disappoinments and short-comings.
As my eyes grew clearer, I realised that the steps I take I my own steps. I have the ability to change my path at any given moment. and should I stumble and fall, I did not blame fate, God or any other except myself.
Thank you. My life is marked with a series of stumbles and falls - that's okay, most of it I learned from. I came to the realization that my next fall is not an "if" but a "when," and all I can do is try to fall forward.
If you don't count them as stumbles and falls, then how does that account for the scars on my forhead? Oh yeah that from a horse, sorry. Plus it was more like flying then stumbling
