I'd consider myself a glass half full character, I think it generally takes too much wasted energy to focus on the negative happenings. Life throws you a curve ball - deal with it and learn from it, just don't dwell on it.

Do you consider yourself a optimistic or pessimistic person?

Hello wave There Atlam

I must admit we all pass through rough patches in our lives. Some being a family death, long illnesses, difficult decisions in our life status and more.

Despite all the bitterness and anger building up inside us i found out
how strong and powerful we can become to solve our problems.

Conclusion being one becomes optimistic and move on thinking positive.

So i consider myself three quarters full glass dear Atlam.wine

Hello shimmy Sweet Marti

The good thing to remember is there is always a tomorrow, it's up to us to discover what that tomorrow will bring.

Atlam,
people often devide the world in two categories the optimists and the pessimists, but they make the mistake of leaving out the realists.
I am a realist. I can look at something and say that it is a bad thing, but that does not make me a pessimist.
I can look at something good, and admit that it is good. I don't need to be an optimist to do that.
So this glass half full or half empty mentality is good only in explaining the difference between positive and negative thinking, but not very meaningful in living that reality.
Realism is the most important concept to uphold.

Many years ago I was told that positive things happen to positive people. Took a while for the reality of the statement to prove it's self and it's value.

Today it is a way of life for me and although I too, like all others am plagued with the 'realities' of life, I find that I attract so many more positive happenings to myself then many other people around me by simply expecting the positive thing to happen in any situation. What you expect is what you get most of.

I cherish the advice that I was given all those years ago and often urge those around me to adopt it. If nothing else it makes me a happier person, always full of expectations and more pleasant to those around me. Let's face it who wants to hang out with a sour soothsayer? I know I don't.
