I have finally achieved my life`s ambition, taken half a century, but was worth it...... I exclude myself from the Christmas Fiasco.

This is a very strange fellowship ... the Catholic Church perpetuates the myth, and the (mainly) Jewish nation benefits from the shopping frenzy..... a Brotherhood of Business?

The annual frenzied shopping to enable the giving / receiving of Useless and Superfluous Objects of Clutter.

While those without family suffer from lonelyness and many are driven to suicide because they are excluded from this "normal" mainstream of society`s so-called "time of religiousity" and togetherness.

This old Celtic time of Tree worship and celebration of the Winter Solstice is now a celebration of selfishness, wild shopping sprees, drunkeness, and suicide, also a time to abandon pets in locked apartments or tied up in back-yards to enable the revellers to go away on holidays. But the masses still seem to believe in being Jolly and Gay.......?

Sorry everyone ... I am what is known as a Grunge! ... and the disposer of said useless objects that clutter the cupboards.......

My participation in the gift giving consists of either chocolates or vouchers for Reflexology Treatments, dependent on the age of recipients....

I'll do my xmas shopping in December, I like going to the city and seeing all the lights and atmosphere...

last year was my son's first year of finding out that father xmas is not really xmas and we went shopping together... it's great to think of other people and finding something that they'll trully like.

I know that giving presents can be done and is done throughout the year whether it's xmas or a birthday but Xmas is a special time (at least for me) and I like all the parafonolia that goes with it... the decorations...the lights....and the turkey! yummy!

last year I got up at 6 just to put the turkey in the oven on xmas day! - I went back to bed! laugh and the turkey didn't burn, it was just right and ready at lunch time!cheers cheers

The best part of the vouchers is that they cost me nothing ....... ! I am the Reflexologist!!!

... so they don`t feel guilty for begging my time and can treat it as a business transaction..!

Yes, yes, I know, I am a Grunge, Supremo....!rolling on the floor laughing
