Good morning all. Boy it's been hot here. Ummm, I'm going to make bacon and cinnamon toast and a glass of milk. Nice cold milk. We here in So. Cal have had electricity go out because of the heat. I’m lucky haven’t had the problem.

I make my gravy melting butter (lotsa butter) and put in flour making a rue. Then I put in half and half. For the sausage I use half hot half regular and crumble it. I put in a lot of sausage. That’s how I do it. The gravy is creamy with the sausage.

I fry my sausage....take the meat out, the put in flour, salt & Pepper. brown it, then add milk. Just the way I was raised, and I absolutely refuse to eat it with chunks of sausage in it. To each their own. I was born and raised in the same town, and this is my first time living somewhere else, and boy I am suffering trying to eat all these new things.....maybe it explains why it was so easy to lose 30 lbs.
