Actually, I'm a lionness and Lions usually pair for life.
Typically, the Lionness instigates the mating by arousing the King from his sleep. A bit grudging at first, the male soon rises to his reproductive duties. After mating, lions have no interest in hunting or eating and are not viewed as a threat to any prey!
when I read that.....so basically, I know what I need so I'll no longer be a threat. LOL
