I'm curious to hear any perspectives of what it was like having a date after not being involved with someone for a year+ for anyone in the same boat as myself.
Anything that you wished you had done differently after it was over? Anything you felt was helpful to you? Either before, during, or after?
I *think* I'm getting close to having a date (another site, but I value this forum over any other:), and I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous.
Well thats the odd thing. I've been in 3 long term relationships and a smattering of shorter ones, and I can't say that any of them actually had a true "first date". It seemed like all of them evolved naturally. Like working with the person, or going to school together.
This "first date" thing is all new to me:) Should be fun though.
