Now that's not nice.......I like having friends and I like making friends. If you mailed me in the past, you surely would have gotten a response from me.
I wouldn't worry about this too much ...... seems that alot of people forget that others have BUSY lives and that perhaps they aren't the only person who corresponds with someone. Seems that the fax/ email/msn instant messaging etc. has transformed our world into being much more impatient.
I've been scolded for giving what the receiver thought was not appropriate response to their letter, but I was in a hurry and wanted to respond before rushing off to work and didn't take the time to compose a proper response.
I'm to the point now that I really limit my letters etc. because I found in the past I was writing back to everyone and basically wasting alot of my time and energy because it never went anywhere. I'm learning to set my boundaries .......... still being nice and friendly ..... but also not wasting my time (or theirs).
I work in the communication industry. I have been skillfully trained in our motto "hurry up and wait!"
I too, wouldn't worry too much about it, as Langley says, there is a lot more means of communications and sometimes it is overwhelming, with having phone calls, emails, IM chats and the likes.
P.S. Goth, I still like you all the same. Flowers are supposed to last anyway, if they are sent with care...

Mind you, I may have to wait a week to get my reply...but I will wait!
