Isn't life expectancy rather on the low side in Panama? I mean they can afford to give senior citizen deductions on movies because so few get old enough to qualify - right?

Ok, I sort of answered it already though!
I am legally resident in the UK.
I'd like to live in Malta (or Gozo to be precise) for the following reasons:
1.) I am looking after my elderly parents and it's a total pain and stressful going backwards and forwards to the UK and worrying about them being ok when I am 'over there'.
2.) I met a lovely lady here (well, over 'there' in Malta) who makes me feel very happy.
3.) I've felt Malta or Gozo was the only place that was a point of reference since about 1970 and where I 'feel at home' even though it's not my home if you see what I mean!
4.) I'd rather be a small fish in a small pond than a tadpole in a huge lake filled with hungry pike......... I like being 'unambitious' and living a decent life without having to impress anybody but myself.
Apart from Malta?
'Home is where the heart is'; therefore I am happy to be wherever my friends and family are - location is unimportant to me but my state of mind is of supreme importance to me........... I believe I am happiest in the company of people I care about.
