What would you say is the worst kind of lie?
Is there such a thing as one lie being worse than another?
Is a lie that is spread about you the most evil kind? EG : Melanie is having an affair. OR .. Mike is doing this or that to me.
Or a lie that you make people think you are something other than you are not? IE : I have an incurable illness. Or... I earn big bucks working for a global company.

For me any lie...Because then it brings everything the person says under suspicion and the person loses all credibilty with me....After a time I plain just stop listening!!!!!!!!!!!

A lie is a lie. There is no explanation, it is downright deceit and a coward’s way out. If the truth hurts, so be it, it was wrong in the first place.
Sometimes unspoken lies can be the worst. When someone leads you to believe something and it's a complete fictional story. I would call this a lie also.

I find that I cannot ever be at peace if I'm not truthful with myself. Why would I portray myself falsely and put myself in tumoil. Lying is perpetual catch 22 in which the liar always loses. A person who is in the midst of that is confused about how to attain love and acceptance. I don't hate liars, I just shake my head and move on.

Pathological liars?? OMG... where do ya want me to start? Yes, I do know of at least one or two in our midst, which is a little disconcerting....

yes they are...
especially the ones who tell the same stories to gain the hearts of another and another and another.
i have seen it, and have talked to others who where told the same sacred things that were shared with me...
And the Pathilogical ones will always try to act as if they are so innocent and the world is attacking them.
but in reality it is only just the few that have the same feelings, hurts, and broken dreams the liar offered.
to me this is the worst kind... to lie and find a fool to believe the same story you told the fool before them.
They know what the outcome is because they have faced it so many times before...
So why bother?

I was taught as a child:"The truth shall make you free". So I ventured out to seek the truth. And I found it. And did it make me free? Hell no! Did it make me frightened, defensive and insecure? Damn right it did! So now I know the truth about "the truth." Avoid it all costs. Make up your own truth...and stick to it no matter how little sense it makes. And sooner or later, you'll have converts. Trust me.
