I agree with you. It is a barbarick practice fuelled by the dollar. Marine mammals fetch very high prices in the Asian restaurants. I happen to be involved in marine management and our aim is to protect and sustain what marine life there still is. Large scale slaughter of marine life causes adverse effects to the ecological system and food chain of the oceans. Dolphins are such beautiful trusting creatures who have similar feeling to mankind. I considered the slaughter to be equal to murder.

I fully agree.
But the Weekend fisherman is just as bad. They may not destroy Dolphins like that. But on a good days fishing they never stop at just what they need for there family. They just keep on fishing and throw there rubbish and bodily functions over the side.

Hang on mate...I'm a weekend fisherman and what you're saying couldn't be further from the truth.
Most civilized fisherman practice catch and release (as I do) or only take enough for a feed....lumping them all in one basket is just unfair.
