The Bush administration is poised to attack the Kurds, the very people who where used as leverage, because of Saddam's oppression of them, to attack Iraq. When will the US stop trying to police the world ? The US is trillions of dollars in debt and printing money. The US dollar has hit an all time low. Why ? Because the world has lost its confidence in the US. Might does not make right.

We all knew he wouldn't go gently into that good night, didn't we? Nope, he'll take as much down with him as he can. Economy and 'world policing' is just a small chunk. The only thing we can hope is that there's enough people in congress afraid about the next election to keep him sitting on his hands until he's tossed from the building. That and that the international community keeps remembering that those who put him in that chair are mostly sorry they did it now, as demonstrated by his approval rating, which has dipped to 24% last time I looked.

.....and if there's an upside, congress is hovering around 11%. applause So Bush probably feels pretty good.

At least that flakey assed Kerry didn't get elected. I think he voted for it before he voted against it doh I forget how that went dunno

Polling reported Friday that a slight majority of Americans would like to see Iran's nuclear sites "taken out", but disapproved of ground troops. sigh There was a 3% margin of error in the polling. Sucks that Hillary voted "yes" on giving Bush that latitude, doesn't it frustrated
