She has now found a part time job so I am also babysitting for her. I was wondering how many other mother's out there are living with their grown children to help out?

Oo that's very selfless of you.. I'm not sure my mum would have ever done that. Though she would often help me with babysitting (for me to work) .. and potter about the house doing bits and bobs for me while I wasn't there.

I don't consider it to be selfless we both are helping each other, as we share all the expenses.

My mom and I had talked about that while she was living but came to the conclusion that we each preferred to live on our own,although she would come down and stay with us everynow and then.
I would be willing to do it if need be though.

At this time we are talking about me moving out soon, as she wants her dependence back. She feels she would like to try it on her own, as we do get into more arguments with me living here.
