I have been a long time believer that we as adults cannot blame society or our enviroment on our problems. Just because you may have grown up with abusive or drug addicted parents dose not mean that we will turn out the same way. Life is what we make it. If we aren't happy with our lives it's up to us to change it not the people around us. Even a small child know the difference between right or wrong. Want a better life, make better choices. Don't play the blame game.

Blame is an easy way out, The same as Justification

Standing up and being counted for your own actions is hard for some people to do so they take the easy way out.

if they only knew it really isn't the easy way... hey are never happy. it's an unending poison journey...

As for blaming others for my actions ,never have,never will.We all make our own choices in life and sometimes you make mistakes.Thats where the human part comes in.

i am so used to getting blamed fro everything that i usually take the blame even though its not my falut and i am trying to get over that but its hard when you are so use to it

I know that can happen, Laurie. One should only have to credit for their own mistakes. I know I have made plenty of them but I think the thing about being human is that we all make them. I learned in rehab how to make amends. Making mistakes is part of growing up but to buy into someone's else guilt trip can make one a martyr. One doesn't have to take blame for everything. One can be passive and let bullys control you or one can be agressive and be the bully. There is a problem with both ways. Assertiveness is the best way and helps in communication. My counselor helped me a lot. I am a big man but to take advantage of someone else in a physical fight belittles me. I got the hell beat out of one time by a little guy and all his little friends once, lol.

i tell you Roy i know i have made mistakes and like it has been said we are all human and you live and learn right and we if knew everything whats the point of having others in our lives
