My Eternal Angel ( Archived) (2)

This is a poem written by a friend of mine.I think it's very nice.

Inside my heart, way down deep
I thought I had found a place
That my aching heart would never be found
Hidden and from this earth so safe

All light was banned from it
Locked away within its prison deep
Never again to feel the touch of love
That it longed so much to find and keep

But each time it thought
That true love it had finally found
Soon after it was rent and torn in two
A blood ridden mess upon the ground

However this time it feels different
I have no feeling of pain or dread
This time its butterflies in my stomach
And great happiness in my heart and head

New feelings I am now having
Fluttering heart rate and coy grins
As I constantly think about you
Dreaming of you and things

So bless you my sweet angel
For these feelings in my heart and more
And for being my heart and souls reviver
Lover, angel and sweetheart that I adore

Long may all these things continue
Because for all of time with you I want to be
Bringing happiness and joy to each other
For the rest of eternity
