This is my professionial opinion! Ok just as a woman out here again tryin to find "Mr. Right", It is hard to go to places to meet men in general.. Like for instance Church? now that might be ok if you already know them and have establihed a repore but if not then your back at square one with the sweaty hands and the shaky voice and the OMG does he like me too?? Same with the Laundry Mat, Grocery Store and so on and so forth... Annnnnnnyway! These forums give people who are naturally shy in some aspects of human interaction the ability to come our of thier shell while hiding behind the computer. And then eventually by the time you decide that the person you have been cooresponding with is someone you might want to meet it is ok.. Because you feel like you know them. So meeting is easy like running into an old friend in the street....
Otherwise we would just forever be beating our heads up against a wall... with out any relief in sight...
So hence the reason why these spots on the net are so popular... and it does work if you are willing to allow it to work.. Be cautious as you would any other time.. and be yourself and Mr/Mrs. Right will be on the other side of your computer screen so to speak.. It is all about chemistry in the long run anyway.... It might help windrunner, if you were able to persue a relationship, but then again, how can you. You are still married! Could be the major reason you can't find anyone. Women don't like sharing there man with other woman, and as long as you are still married. You are unavailable. Get a divorce , and then get on the date sites. Otherwise your just another wandering husband ( don't care to hear the excuses) that is trolling these sites, looking for a replacement for the wife he hasn't legally gotten rid of.
