I for one, hate to talk on line to someone. I have found often times, they hide behind the computer screen and just want a chat buddy. I usually like to meet them within the first week. But, no, I do not give out my phone number until I can trust them. And that may take several dates.

RE: volunteering

At my work I have collected donations for literacy,st. judes, toys for tots,care and shelter,homeless shelter. My co-workers refuse to ask because they are afraid of being rejected. I said that comes with the territory. For every 10 requests, 6 will usually donate. This year I bought presents for everyone at my local senior center. and donate around 75 presents to volunteers of america. This was out of my own pocket. NOw , I am trying to get some care packages together for the troops in Iraq. I went to the recruiters office, to get addresses, but they would only give me the uso address. Which I already have. I want to converse with the men and women soldiers . But I can't find any military addresses in Iraq to send the packages to. I also volunteer 5 days a week at the senior center for meals on wheels. I also volunteer at the senior center teaching seniors for free how to access a computer and get and do email . I also donated a car load of bingo prizes to the senior center. I live alone. So, I have pretty much adopted a lot of the seniors at the center.

It might help windrunner, if you were able to persue a relationship, but then again, how can you. You are still married! Could be the major reason you can't find anyone. Women don't like sharing there man with other woman, and as long as you are still married. You are unavailable. Get a divorce , and then get on the date sites. Otherwise your just another wandering husband ( don't care to hear the excuses) that is trolling these sites, looking for a replacement for the wife he hasn't legally gotten rid of.

Hell no they should not get any benefits. Take care of our own people first. I think the president has lost site of that. He wants to stick his nose in everybody elses business and drag us into wars. THese people have been fighting amongst themselves for centuries. What makes him think we are going to stop them? We need a health care system that works for the american's. Not let illegal immigrants take what little benefits we do get from this country. If they want better improvements in their country, let them fight for it in mexico. We lost thousands of lives in wars on american soil for what we have. Let them fight for what they want in their own countries. Snd english should be the official language of the united states. cheryl

Especially this time a year, I seek comfort in being around alot of people. I also have been a secret santa for many years. I volunteer at the senior center here and have given every senior a present. Plus I have donated over 100 presents to volunteers of america.Plus being a cashier I have collected over 400 presents for toys for tot, and hundreds of dollars for st. judes hospital. ( I am the only one in the store that asked for donations, as my co-workers feared being rejected.) But every present I give away or collect for charity fill my heart and soul. Every day, I see people wanting to take,take ,take. But How many people do you see giving of their time to charity? There are so many organizations out their that need volunteers. Ok, I am getting off my soap box now

What is the point of going international? You would probably never meet them. Hell, A person is lucky if he can meet somebody out of his home state. Let known out of the country.

I don't think that is why sweetest day was invented. I was told by the woman that does the cards at our store, that american greetings created that day many years ago. That is why alot of the big card companies don't carry sweetest day cards. Because american greetings has the rights to it.
