Well so much for this thread --- all the response received so far is by a few brits and a scot --- after all what would they know about the subject

Well since its on a poetry catergory and its about love and romance lets see...
A red rose my love
one i purchased for you today
Caught a thorn on my nose
turned my whole world grey.
One single rose is special
has more meaning then three
But this one has spoilt our date
that you'll surely agree.
A plaster on my nose
and a bandage upon my hand.
Its not funny my love
yet i know you'll understand.
Cutting the plaster
the scissors slipped across my palm
Cutting at my vein
hence also the sling now on my arm.
Getting up to phone for an ambulance
this my love is true
I slipped upon the rose
love my legs in plaster broken too.
One single rose may well
have more meaning than three.
I think baby now this shows
that you're bad luck for me.
Maybe Romance is not soo good after all....
