I don't expect to meet anyone here. This sight is much too global for me to even entertain the idea. I am very much a realist with a tiny fragment of optimism embedded in the back of my brain.
I came here to participate in the forums and I enjoy them; the interaction, the flirtatiousness, sometimes even the drama. I guess that is a good thing. If I had come in hopes of finding someone to develop a LTR with I would be bitterly disappointed.

I agree it does require sacrifice.
Even if one has not been burned via a dating site, any bad relationship in their past can cause them to be leery of making the same mistake twice, 3, or some even 4 times.
some will never believe drinking too much from the well is bad for you.
