You sound bitter... that's something that most "real" people try to avoid. We are affected by the moods of the people around us, and when someone we are with on a constant basis is so down all of the time... it brings us down, too! Everyone has a bad day now and then, but when it's everyday... or at least the way someone chooses to deal with life makes it seem like "every day" is a depressing... I choose to avoid people like that.
Cheer up! You'll have more luck!! If you aren't already happy with yourself... there isn't anyone in this world that is going to increase happiness for you that doesn't already exist inside yourself.
I know I'm just an old woman compared to you... but I've had a lot of joy come out of even the worst situations! And I would never respond to someone in my age range that had the attitude your projecting here!
Good luck and there are better days ahead if you really want them to be there!!

honestly, what is this about , really,.besides a constant argruement which has led back to the road of gender differientials,..lets just go back to the opening passage to this thread,.but already i cant remember it , cause the ones to follow construed it all to what im not sure the topic orginated with,..though the one lady was right with her opinion,..depression is depressing, whether this individual is not,.yet the advice is good for anyone unhappy,.dont take it as literal then.but lets get on with it,.what is the real problem here,.????
