I always add friends requests.
I figure if they asked thay are either being kind and really would like to get to know me.
Or they are just building up thier own friends boxes.
Either way it doesn't matter to me... they ask i say yes.
i have not ever removed a friend from my list.... I'am so bad they remove themselves once they get to know me
i general like everybody and try to make as many friends as i can in this life.
I want to have great big parties when i go to the City of golden streets.
I figure if they asked thay are either being kind and really would like to get to know me.

I am guilty as charged (don’t even need a defense lawyer). I have sent a friend request to an unknown lady, when I was still new on this site. She did not accept it and I can't blame her. In South Africa we've got a saying that people judge you according to the friends you have, and if that is true, she must be thankful for not accepting the friend request..........lol.
I had 2 friends (actually talked to them, and 1 sent the request to me, yippee), they both deleted the requests (in the mean time), so I am not only clueless, but also friendless. Such is life................
